Terms of Service
Clear rules for using ProfileOps.
Effective May 1, 2026
These terms explain how customers, administrators, and invited users may use ProfileOps. By signing in, connecting a Google Business Profile, or using an authorization link, you agree to these terms.
1. What ProfileOps Does
ProfileOps helps teams manage customer Google Business Profile operations. The current service supports account administration, customer authorization links, read-only Google Business Profile connection, location selection, audit activity, recommendations, and worker-backed workflows.
ProfileOps does not currently publish live changes to Google Business Profiles. Approved optimizer proposals record intent inside ProfileOps unless a future product release clearly adds controlled write actions.
2. Accounts and Access
- You must use accurate account and user information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
- Administrators are responsible for inviting the right users and removing access when it is no longer needed.
- If you authorize Google access for a business, you confirm that you have permission to grant that access.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use ProfileOps to:
- break the law or violate Google policies;
- access, copy, or change data you are not allowed to use;
- interfere with the service, security controls, or audits;
- submit malicious code, spam, or deceptive content; or
- resell the service unless ProfileOps has agreed in writing.
4. Customer Data
You keep ownership of the business, profile, user, and workflow data you provide or authorize ProfileOps to access. You allow ProfileOps to process that data only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
5. Third-Party Services
ProfileOps connects to third-party services such as Google APIs and may use infrastructure, AI, notification, and hosting vendors to operate the service. Their terms and policies may also apply to your use of those services.
6. Service Changes and Availability
ProfileOps may change features, fix defects, add limits, or pause access when needed for security, reliability, compliance, or abuse prevention. The service is provided as available, and no uptime or revenue result is guaranteed unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
7. No Professional Advice
Recommendations, audits, rank signals, and workflow output are operational tools. They are not legal, financial, or guaranteed search-performance advice. Review recommendations before acting on them.
8. Ending Access
You may stop using ProfileOps at any time. Administrators can deactivate users and disconnect or replace customer authorization paths. ProfileOps may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or continued service would create legal, security, or operational risk.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ProfileOps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. The total liability of ProfileOps for claims related to the service is limited to the amount paid for the service in the three months before the claim, or 100 U.S. dollars if no amount was paid.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms should go to your ProfileOps administrator or the person who sent your ProfileOps invitation. They can route the request to the service operator responsible for your account.
